ABOUT ME

I am a storyteller. I also like the process of creating the story–working on my own or, better yet, with a team–shaping something that has yet to be fully realized. I’ve worked on stages, on screen, at museums, in classrooms, in boardrooms, and in pizza restaurants. I was also a professional sea comedian (not a joke). My two-woman comedy group, Somebody’s in the Doghouse, was twice-voted one of the top five sketch comedy groups in the nation by the Friars Club.

Most recently, I have been writing funny stuff for children’s television. I was nominated for a 2016 Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Preschool Animated Program for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (PBS). In addition to Daniel, I write for Creative Galaxy (Amazon), Wishenpoof (Amazon) and Odd Squad (PBS), and other great and secret shows in development. I am always looking for new opportunities, particularly in children’s television and media, so send me a pigeon.

And of course I live in Brooklyn, even though I don’t run an artisanal business…yet.
