I am working on another project with JMH Education. This one is a curriculum package for the Ad Council and the USDA Forest Service. Finding My Forest will be a curriculum focused at tweens with the goal of getting them outside in nature. As a former camp counselor, I am excited to get teachers thinking about how to get kids outside…especially as I sit in black-top heavy NYC.

I am currently working as a freelance writer for JMH Education. My most recent project is a curriculum for the United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA/APHIS) about the Asian Longhorned Beetle, an invasive insect that’s killing trees in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. I am creating a curriculum guide, four-panel poster, take-home activities and a “family activity pak” to get the word out about the ALB!
